Presentation at the 5th International Conference on
Musical Heritage at the University of Barcelona
On May 22,
2026, I gave a lecture as part of the University of Barcelona’s 5thInternational Conference on Musical Heritage. My presentation focused on the
rediscovery of a significant late-19th-century tenor who performed at the era's
leading opera houses and premiered works by major composers. The title of the
talk was: "The Rediscovery of Manuel Suaña: A Tenor at the Heart of
Italian Verismo."
El 22 de maig de 2026 vaig oferir una conferència en el marc de les V Jornades Internacionals de Patrimoni Musical de la UB. La meva aportació va ser la descoberta d'un important tenor de finals del segle XIX que va actuar als millors teatres d'òpera de l'època i va estrenar òperes d'importants compositors.
El títol de la ponència va ser: La recuperació de Manuel Suaña, un tenor situat al bell mig del Verisme italià.
